Word of the Year
A practice that has supported me each new year is choosing a Word of the Year—a single guiding word that becomes inspiration for the year ahead. Unlike resolutions (with all their pressure and rigidity), a word is a companion. It doesn't demand accomplishment; it invites attention. It becomes a north star for growth, creativity, and self-trust.
For 2026, I've been sitting with my word for several weeks now—listening, feeling, letting it rise in its own timing. I'll be sharing it with you at our next Open Table session on Sunday, January 11, 2026, 4-6pm.
To help you bring your chosen word to life, I'm excited to invite you to my art studio. Join me for a creative and inspiring experience where we'll paint our words together. No matter your level of artistic experience, this is a chance to connect with your word through color, shape, and expression.
Make connections, play and nourish yourself with sensory delights.
Let curiosity guide you.
I'll have a seat at the table ready for you!
